Is the attraction accessible?
MONOPOLY DREAMS Melbourne is an accessible venue.

Please note that some game play in certain zones may be impacted. For further clarification regarding accessibility or specific guest experience, please email us at [email protected] or call us on 03 9623 2350. Alternatively, feel free to chat to attraction staff on the day who will be more then happy to assist.

  • Wheelchair users are welcome to transfer into a cinema seat or remain in their personal wheelchair at the front of the cinema.
  • Wheelchair users will require assistance to participate in the Banking experience.
  • Wheelchair users are welcome to enter the Laser Maze for photo opportunities, but may not be able to complete the designed game play.

 

Will assistance animals be allowed?
We are unable to welcome pets, however, guests with an assistance animal are welcome.

 

Melbourne Central pram and wheelchair access
MONOPOLY DREAMS Melbourne is located on the Lower Ground Floor – pram and wheelchair users are encouraged to use the nearest lifts: there are lifts directly opposite that descend to the car parks. Nearby lifts (behind MINISO) ascend to the upper shopping levels.

There are many accessible toilets available throughout Melbourne Central. The closest accessible toilets are directly opposite the entrance to MONOPOLY DREAMS Melbourne – next to MINISO.

Parents’ facilities
With a 5-star rating by the Breast Feeding Association, Melbourne Central’s Parents’ Retreat has change tables, a parents’ room, bins, toilets, breast-feeding cubicles, a microwave and a place for kids to play.

The Parents’ Retreat is located on Level 2 of the Melbourne Central Shopping Centre.

4DX Cinema

4DX Cinema terms and conditions

The 4DX motion chairs are equipped with motion simulators to mimic the action on the screen, combining intense motion, strong vibrations, and special effects. Due to safety requirements, the following guests will not be admitted to the 4DX Cinema:

  • Guests who are pregnant.
  • Guests aged 3 and under.
  • Guests under 106 cm tall.
  • Guests weighing over 120kg.
  • Guests with high blood pressure, heart conditions, back or neck conditions, epilepsy, or any type of serious medical conditions or disabilities.
  • Guests who have had recent surgery; injured bones and/or back or neck injuries; and/or are wearing casts or moon boots.
  • Guests with breathing difficulties, such as allergies or scent sensitivities.
  • Guests prone to motion sickness.
  • Guests with sensory sensitivities.
  • Due to the nature of the experience, no animals are permitted.

Note: the MONOPOLY DREAMS 4DX cinema features a 3D movie, requiring guests to wear complimentary 3D Glasses. Guests with a visual impairment may not be able to perceive 3D images, particularly individuals with monocular vision.

Delicate fabric may be adversely affected by the 4DX effects including rain, wind and fog.

How to have a safe and enjoyable 4DX experience

  • 3D glasses are supplied at no cost – please return the glasses to the appropriate basket at the conclusion of the experience. All 3D glasses are sterilised between uses.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Guests aged 11 or below must be accompanied by another guest aged 16 years or older.
  • Each guest must be seated in their own seat – lap sitting is not permitted.
  • Remain seated at all times.
  • Please sit upright and don’t put arms or legs in between the seats.
  • Do not get too close to special effects units, especially blowers or jets.
  • Food and drinks are not permitted in the cinema.
  • Valuables must be stored within the allocated storage area. Personal belongings must not be stored in the space between the seats, or where it obstructs the aisles.
  • The use of mobile phones is prohibited during the experience. Unauthorized photo-taking, audio and/or video recording is strictly forbidden inside the 4D Cinema. Any unauthorized recordings, tapes, films and/or similar items may be confiscated and destroyed.
